A project of sustainability education center Tryon Life Community Farm in Portland Oregon, Recode gathers information to support grassroots movements in transforming codes and regulations to encourage and incentivize innovative, citizen-based sustainability in Oregon and beyond.

Recode Community Meetings

When: the 4th Tuesday of every month from 6:30-8:30pm.
Where: In the St Francis block, 1131 SE Oak, Che Room.  (Google Map Link)

Next Meeting: Tuesday June 22nd.

What:  This month's meeting will focus on Recode's new Ecological Sanitation campaign -gathering information and creating a work plan for action.  We will also review our other work, and discuss opportunities for involvement:  portland plan engagement, graywateradvisory committee, TAG campaign, community empowerment, alternativetech advisory committee, etc.

Awesome Gray Water Celebration for World Water Day!

Thanks to all who came to the World Water Day Gray Water Celebration on March 22. It was really fun, and raised a good amount of funds for Recode's statewide organizing tour!

Public Gray Water Forum -April 13th, 2-5 pm, Portland City Hall

Recode is hosting a public gray water forum at the Lovejoy Room in Portland City Hall on April 13th, 2-5 pm. This is a great chance for you - the invested public - to share your ideas about what the gray water rules should look like. More details to come!
